It’s true. I haven’t really been out for the past Sinulog celebrations in my entire lifetime. Being able to go out at my own pace (not really) and to wherever without having to ask permission from my parents is a big first for me this year. Of course, the big difference is that we have to carry a 9-kg baby around which was not really much of a problem since the partner is there and does most of that job. Haha.
I also realized that this is actually the first Sinulog that the partner and I are together. Two years ago, I went with a relative and his girlfriend and wasn’t able to meet up with the partner due to really bad network signal. Last year, I was mostly at home until after the fireworks carrying an 8-month-old fetus in my tummy while the partner slept, getting ready for his shift that night. So, yeah, this is also our first as a couple.

We’re still in the process of learning how to use the damn box though. But I’ve finally got more decent photos for the blog plus an official photographer. Weee.)
