A week before our short Davao getaway adventure (read about it here, here, here, here and here), the partner had a scheduled beach outing with his teammates from work. We were short on budget and would not have gone there but the chance to go camping by the beach with our one-year-old was too hard to pass up.
With just a 400PHP budget – food and accommodations all taken care of by the partner’s teammates – plus about 240PHP two-way fare for each person, we decided to give it a go. We stayed on budget, thank goodness, and did not have to spend an extra peso there.
Let me just show a few pictures from when we enjoyed the cool waters and when we started camping out. I think I’m way too lazy now (and too excited to post this) to scan my folders if I still have pictures of the baby at the beach.
The beach was pretty great and the sand was fine but not super white. Good enough. We got to camp out at the beach! Yay!

Hi! Do you have to pay if you wanna Camp?
I totally forgot to add that in. As far as I can remember there is a public beach a little before Edward’s Place. Their beachfront is “exclusive” to their customers and I think you might have to pay a minimal fee to camp out there.
Beautiful family pictures. Looks like you had a lovely time. 🙂
