It’s been raining cats and dogs (for most of the time) in our place in the last five days or so. A low pressure area has been looming over the islands, including Cebu, and has caused continuous rains, flooding and landslides. In about three days, the biggest festival in Cebu will be happening and I just hope that LPA will not be upgrading its way into a tropical storm.
Still, the non-stop raining did not hinder my friends back at the office from having a good time wading at the pool. I would have wanted to go mostly because it is free of charge (club expense) but it was raining so hard that time so I couldn’t bring my daughter with me.
Although that happened last Saturday – and it’s already Thursday today, I can’t help but feel a little envious about it. Although maybe not by much because it may have been really cold that time. Hahaha. Weather and temperatures like the ones we have been experiencing scare me from taking a bath. Shhh. Hahaha.
I took a quick look at the albums in the laptop and found a few cute pictures of my daughter enjoying pool sessions with the swimming club from the office. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
These first few pictures were taken in Holiday Gym and Spa in Banilad. My friend got quite a great deal with this through Groupon. Day use at the Holiday Gym and Spa (including use of all facilities) is 300PHP (~6.7USD).
After each godparent (mostly all of them) had a photo opportunity with the daughter, it was time for mine, too:
Another place we went to was in Sandtrap Cebu. Their rates is 100PHP (~2USD) for unlimited pool use. But I think their food is way overpriced. Perhaps I’ll get to that in a separate post.
Anyway, this one was not a club-sponsored activity so we had to shell out a few bucks from our own pockets. Haha.
And then maybe I’ll get to wearing an actual bathing suit in the future, too, when I’ve finally made a conscious effort to rid myself of pregnancy (and baby) fats as well as the
minimal stretch marks in my belly. Armmmf.
